Lydia Tar’s downfall
The Ultimate Review of Tar the Movie; When one of her victims committed suicide because of her neglectful and unconcerned ways. Lydia Tar faced a dark cloud over her marital life and career. This unfortunate event triggered her emotions, and she lost herself in the process. The loneliness of no one wanting to associate with her set in after she was relieved of her duties as a leading conductor and composer. Rage at not being able to make a ground-breaking performance that could elevate her career path to another level made her attack a colleague who was appointed to lead her supposed groundbreaking performance.
like the proverb says. When life knocks you down, you can choose to stay down or rise up and keep fighting. This is the spirit of Lydia Tar. She didn’t give up the spirit. She rather picked herself up and rewrote her destiny as one of the best, if not the best, music composers of her time.

Tar is one of the best artistic movies I’ve come across in recent years. It’s perfectly cinematographed, artistically edited, and beautifully directed. The music scores are also emotionally charged and soul lifting. Making out to be rehearse, perform and write beautiful notes makes a major statement from the director’s office.
